The Brownies had great fun in the Town Park when we joined with the 1st Halesworth Brownies, Rainbows and Guides. We played parachute games and the girls all enjoyed the park equipment. As we left the park we called in at Sea Shells and all enjoyed a portion of chips!
The following week it should have been “Water Fun” in the church garden but the heavens opened and there was just too much water and so we had to play indoors! However, we made up for it on our last night when we met at Walpole Road for a barbecue. We managed to play our water games, and yes some of the Brownies got quite wet!! Don did a good job on the BBQ and we all tucked into hot dogs and burgers followed by Penguin`s delicious cakes and an ice lolly to finish.
We say farewell to Alice, Ellie, Jessica, Katie, Millie and Rubymae and we wish them all the best for the future and hope that they go onto Guides. Some of the girls are joining us for a camping holiday at Eaton Vale in Norwich in September before they finally leave.
We plan to re-start on Tuesday September 26th. Alison
