The Ark – Every Wednesday (9.00 till 11.00 a.m.)
Thank you Sarah (From The Ark) The Ark bade farewell to Sarah Vorster our Church Family Worker on Wednesday 19th July. Sarah arranged a superb soft play time for her final formal Ark which was greatly enjoyed by the toddlers. You should have seen the wonder on their faces as they watched the balls kept in the air by the wind fountains. They kept diverting the air steams to blow each others hair around. At the end of the session, Stacey, the longest serving Ark mum present, presented Sarah with a bouquet of flowers and signed card. Wednesday mornings continue to be busy, messy, chatty and fun.
There is a strong sense of community amongst the families and the children are so good at playing together, taking turns with toys and sitting down and eating together at snack time.
We now have the singing/story part of the session in the Church so we have extra room for our marching band to perform.
A few of our older children are moving up to nursery and “big school” and we will miss them very much but wish them the very best for their new adventures.
We ended the school year with a delivery of soft play equipment and a ball pool for the children to throw themselves about on. Great fun!
Over the Summer we will be meeting on occasional Wednesdays but it will be a simplified “no frills” Ark.
