We aim to include engage the whole family within our ministry. See Family Breakfasts for our monthly family meetings. Our ministry style is influenced by the philosphy of Rachel Turner (Parenting your children for a life of faith) i.e, that we believe each child to be capable of owning their own individual God-given spirituality and that each family has an integral part in the spiritual growth of their children. We are happy to provide support to any family in our community in this important role. Sunday support comes in the form of R:age (Sunday School) from 11.00 to 12 noon.
Little Rainbows (Mondays 9am) : 4th,11th,18th,25th.

June Family News from Jo (our Church Family Worker)
May has been a month of many fire crafts!
HURC Too at the end of April was about how God talks to us in many ways. We thought about the story of Saul and how God spoke to him. We then talked about how Saul was changed after God had spoken to him and how God can change us too.
Family Time breakfast was on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9am. We had even more families with about 40 people altogether. The theme was Pentecost with a game thinking about different languages and the children made crowns with flames.
Little rainbows have had a couple of weeks thinking about Pentecost and fire. They made streamers and did fire paintings with forks. The theme continued on Pentecost Sunday when the children made fire spirals and wind socks.
